About Me
David Vepraskas has spent 25 years working in leadership roles in the construction and mechanical contracting industries. His work has given him an appreciation for practical problem-solving and the satisfaction that comes from leading a project from concept to completion. He likes mentoring young professionals and values the relationships that naturally form in this line of work. He’s a board member of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Georgia and holds a mechanical engineering degree from Georgia Tech. He’s also a member of a men’s Bible study group in Rabun County.
Family time is an important part of David’s life, especially when it comes to his kids’ high school sports. Basketball and soccer seasons create a busy routine in their home, and the travel soccer schedule with Rapids FC adds even more adventure to their weekends. When the family isn’t in the stands, David and his boys spend time outside dirtbike riding and whitewater kayaking. David has a growing collection of Toyota Land Cruisers and likes taking them out on overland trips through forests. Camping in the national forests and enjoying long stretches of quiet in the woods are some of his favourite memories with his sons.
